We began in 1965 as an installer of wood floors, but our customers wanted more — and we responded. Today, Mathusek has evolved into a full-service sport and commercial flooring team. Our complete solutions include sales, installation, demolition, custom design, and technical assistance as well as expert refinishing, sanding, maintenance, and repairs for a wide range of flooring.

Many members of our office staff — including the second and third generations of the Mathusek family — cut their teeth working in the field, instilling in them a holistic knowledge of the challenges involved in installing and maintaining sports floors. We have served as “emergency responders,” bolting out the door to assist distraught customers with faulty installations or panicked clients who have discovered their new gym floor has been flooded. We even go the extra mile to refer owners and architects to reputable sources should they need advice outside the scope of our expertise.
